Technology

Publicis Sapient, the Groupe’s technology, digital and consulting platform, supports clients in accelerating their digital transformation by relying on more than 20,000 experts. It helps companies define growth strategies, design data-driven customer experiences, develop innovative and agile technological solutions (infrastructure, applications, etc.), deploy data projects and design new high value-added digital products and services.

Since 2018, Publicis Sapient has been organized by industry verticals in order to strengthen expertise by industry sector, identify growth opportunities and offer its clients the know-how that will ensure their success. The nine industry verticals are: consumer products, energy & raw materials, financial services, healthcare, public sector, retail, media, telecommunications & technology, transportation & mobility, and travel & hospitality.

Following the reorganization of its North American activities in 2019, Publicis Sapient has focused on its digital transformation services in response to growing demand for this expertise, particularly the implementation of artificial intelligence strategies within companies. Publicis Sapient has also developed proprietary AI solutions to accelerate the implementation of client projects, such as Bodhi, an agentic orchestration platform, and Slingshot, a software development acceleration solution.

Groupe organization
Groupe country organization

To provide a single offering in each country combining all the Groupe’s areas of expertise, Publicis defined ten core markets: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Asia-Pacific, Africa, the Middle East & Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, Western Europe and Latin America.

This country-based organizational structure breaks down silos so we can provide our clients with an integrated solution that is seamless and innovative, born out of the alchemy between creativity, media, data and technology. These ten markets are each run and supervised by a single person and overseen day-to-day by a single Executive Committee, bringing together members with different expertise, and have shared support functions. They are thus structured to offer our clients a broad-based solution that meets their needs.

Given the size of the Groupe’s operations in the United States, which represent nearly 60% of the Groupe’s net revenue, the Executive Committee is chaired by Arthur Sadoun.

The purpose of this committee is to accelerate the implementation of the Groupe’s strategy by bringing together all areas of expertise and growing business synergies through cross-fertilization.

Groupe Client Leaders

Clients have always been at the heart of Publicis’ strategy. To best serve them, Publicis relies on an organizational structure centered around Client Leaders—account managers dedicated to a single client. Major clients that use Publicis services in more than one country or across multiple business lines are each assigned a Group Client Leader (GCL). Major clients operating in a single country or region are assigned a Country Client Leader.

This structure translates into an uncomplicated client relationship, managed by a single point of contact. It promotes cross-fertilization and makes it possible to offer all of the Groupe’s activities and expertise to clients on a cross-cutting basis.

The role of the GCL is to strengthen and sustain the relationships between Publicis and its clients around the world, seeking to facilitate their access to the Groupe’s diverse talents and expertise.

Global Delivery Centers

Located mainly in India, Mauritius, Costa Rica and Colombia, the Global Delivery Centers mainly serve Publicis Sapient as well as the Groupe’s Connected Media and production activities. The acquisitions of Tremend in 2022 and Practia in 2023, in Romania and Argentina respectively, strengthened Publicis Sapient’s capabilities in Europe and Latin America, with the creation of two new Delivery Centers in these regions.

Re:Sources

Re:Sources is the backbone of Publicis’ collaborative model and provides digital, administrative and logistics support in the Groupe’s main markets. To help the Groupe’s agencies transform, innovate and increase productivity, Re:Sources provides cutting-edge solutions, streamlined technological platforms and efficient “processing plants.” Shared services (digital: infrastructure and systems, media invoicing and payments, accounting, treasury, legal, human resources, procurement, real estate, etc.) collaborate with agencies to serve clients. After enabling almost all employees to work from home immediately during the pandemic, Re:Sources supported the return to the office and hybrid working methods in 2022 thanks to a mix of technological and real estate solutions.
